The duo LINKS (piano / percussion) explore a universe in perpetual expansion since the founding masterpiece "Kontakte", a real musical big bang, which occurred in 1960. This forty-minute piece is among the greatest achievements of one of the essential composers of the twentieth century, K. Stockhausen (1928-2008) who invented the dialogue between the worlds of electronics and the instrumental at the same time he laid the foundation stone of this new formation.
After this huge piece, were composed multiple pages from all musical styles, the Stochastic (Xenakis) Minimalism (Karagianis), musical theater (Globokar) and spectral (Hurel) of serial (Durieux) improvisation ( Ferrari), while the young composers of today, answering the call of the duo LINKS continuing exploration in their own vocabulary (saturation of sound, live electronics).
The members of LINKS duo, each having a complete and solid musical formation (piano, composition, improvisation for one, percussion, improvisation for the other), have the chance and the advantage of being brothers, which immediately gives to the duo the best qualities of chamber music ensembles: trust, exigency and continuity.
Winner of several chamber music competitions in Europe, the duo LINKS travels the world to bring the richness of its possibilities in extremely varied concerts (possible because of its infinite palette of tone from these instruments full of possibilities: piano, percussion , electronics ...) and have many projects (albums, creations, musical stories, educational interventions, multidisciplinary collaborations).
